Bartlesville F.C is the newest semipro soccer team in the area and the Buffaloes made quite the first impression as a club in their inaugural season. They won their first league championship after winning the Oklahoma-Arkansas spring league. They were not done there as the Buffaloes continued by making it all the way to the Quarterfinals of the United Premier Soccer League National Tournament, where they ended their season with a loss to the Dodge City Kansas Toros on July 27.

Bartlesville radio caught up with members of the team after the season, and Head Coach Luka Milicic was pleased with how the year went.

Ivan Milicevic is the captain for the Buffaloes who played in every game this year says that having success despite the challenges that come with forming a club from scratch was huge.

Other players that stood out for the Buffaloes this year was goalkeeper Iker Gonzalez, Simeon Adair, a recent high school graduate stood out down the stretch and co-owner Peric Obradovic. There were a lot of other names that made an impact as well, but former Bartlesville Bruin and current Rogers State player Brandon O’Rourke stood out in his time on the pitch for the Buffaloes.
