Barnsdall and Pawhuska Clash Friday Night

The Pawhuska Huskies host the Barnsdall Panthers in a big Osage County clash on Friday night.

Both teams have had an extended break, but with both teams having a number of players who played football, each coach said they have taken the last two weeks to get their groups into basketball playing shape.

Pawhuska coach Jason Snodgrass says this is something he has had to adjust to over the last several years. Snodgrass says he knew it would take some time to find a rhythym, but he hopes a win at Oologah to close the fall semester might have done just that.

Coming in with a 4-4 record, Barnsdall coach Wade Corder said his team is still in the process of finding its form. Corder said a number of key pieces to his team have been able to take advantage of the winter break by focusing on that basketball conditioning, rather they want to or not.

The girls will get the night started at 6 p.m. with the guys to follow around 7:30 p.m. That is a game we will have for you on 99.1 FM KPGM and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
