The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bartlesville have received a $5,000 grant to participate in Regal’s 2026 Summer Movie Express program, providing local Club members with an opportunity to enjoy movies and educational activities during the summer.

The partnership between Regal and Boys & Girls Clubs of America is designed to help children avoid summer learning setbacks while providing relief from the summer heat. Grant funds help cover transportation to and from theaters, discounted movie tickets, educational activities and concessions for participating Club members.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bartlesville CEO Jason Barta said the program gave children from both local Clubs the chance to share a classic summer experience. He said opportunities like the program help children build connections, confidence and lasting memories.

Regal’s Summer Movie Express has provided summertime family entertainment since 1991. The program features kid-friendly PG movies for $1 per ticket, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

The 2026 Summer Movie Express features two PG movies every Monday through Thursday at 11 a.m., running from June 1 through Aug. 13.
