One more day until we get some summer baseball back on the radio, as the Doenges Toyota Indians travel to Ada for the Oklahoma State Legion World Series.

Bartlesville ought to be well-rested for the statewide event this weekend. After a ridiculously busy schedule in late June and early July, the Indians have had only a handful of games since winning the Glen Winget Tournament on July 5.

There will be several collegiate players who became regular’s during the Indian’s collegiate season who will be too old to compete in this four-team double-elimination 19-and-under AAA tournament in Ada.

Bartlesville is 20-11-2 on the summer. A good weekend could push the Tribe into a South Central Regional.
