The Washington County OSU Extension Office is hosting its Capture the Flavor: Herbs & Spices Workshop on Wednesday, July 29, at 10 a.m. in the Extension Office Conference Room. For just $5, participants will learn the best ways to store herbs and spices, proper food safety practices, and how adding a little seasoning can boost both flavor and health.

The workshop is designed for home cooks of all skill levels, whether you're a kitchen wizard or someone who considers microwaving a gourmet technique. Attendees are encouraged to bring their curiosity, and maybe a favorite recipe or two, as they discover new ways to add life to everyday meals.
