No game on Wednesday for the Doenges Toyota Indians, as Bartlesville had its game called off.

The Indians were scheduled to play a couple games in Oklahoma City in the consolation bracket of the DBAT League Tournament. Both teams decided to nix the games, which were not going to be a factor in crowning the DBAT champion.

For now, this will give the Tribe some extended time off after an insanely busy stretch.

Bartlesville played 10 games over nine days from early last week until the game in OKC on Tuesday. The run included five games in the Glen Winget Tournament and two double-headers a week ago.

The games depleted Bartlesville’s pitching.

Up next, the final home stretch for the Indians. Bartlesville will be back at it for the Stan Musial World Series at home toward the middle part of next week, July 15-16.

Then, the Indians will have home games next weekend, July 17-18 before the finale of the year in Ada in the State Legion World Series the weekend following.
