OKU Football Hits Midpoint of Summer Workouts

Oklahoma Union football is taking the week off due to the mandated OSSAA dead period.
The Cougars closed out the first half of summer pride working on themselves and getting their product on the field ready to go.
Head football coach Josh Middleton is in his first season with the program after spending last fall as the offensive coordinator at Mounds. After a month of summer workouts, Middleton talks about the growth of the athletes.
The Cougars had their passing league destination for the summer fall through, so OKU will not be in any 7-on-7 competitions throughout the summer.
The Cougars kickoff their football season on Sept. 4 against Drumright.
