Hovland Gets Big Travelers Win

Evan Fahrbach
Former Oklahoma State Cowboy golfer Viktor Hovland was on top of the golf world on Monday, as Hovland beat Scottie Scheffler in what ended up being a one-hole playoff for the Travelers Championship.
After both golfers had great approach shots, Hovland nailed an eight-foot putt for birdie to put pressure on Scheffler, who then missed his shorter putt for birdie.
The win was the eighth career PGA Tour win for Hovland and the first of 2026 for the youngster and former Stillwater resident.
He talks about being nice to himself after the round.
The win ties former Poke Bob Tway with eight PGA Tour wins.
