The Doenges Toyota Indians will play a doubleheader Wednesday evening to kickoff the home portion of the summer.

The Indians enter their first homestand of the season with an overall record of 7-1. They split their first D-BAT league doubleheader Monday at O'Brien Park against Tulsa Barons Black. Bartlesville plays Tulsa Barons Gold Wednesday evening.

The games will be featured as "Mike Tupa Night," celebrating the life and legacy of the Bartlesville sports icon who died on April 7. Tupa was the sports editor for the Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise for 30 years and co-founded Bartlesville Area Sports, a website, with Becky Burch.

Burch, along with former co-worker David Austin, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Wednesday's games begin at 5:45 p.m. from Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. Coverage can be heard on KWON - AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1, with video coverage on KWONTV.com.
