Oklahoma is only a few innings away from another appearance in the College World Series.

The Sooners are leading Kansas 8-1 in the bottom of the third inning in game two of their Super Regional in Lawerence. The game was suspended due to lightening in the area late on Sunday.

Oklahoma is just a few innings from Omaha after winning game one on Saturday night, 8-1.

It would be the first trip to the CWS since 2022 for OU, which has surged toward the end of the season.

The suspended game restarts at noon. If Oklahoma wins the Sooners move on. If KU comes back the deciding game three would be right after around 4:00 on Monday.
