Indians Baseball Finishes Perfect Weekend in Branson

The Doenges Toyota Indians captured a perfect weekend in Branson, Mo. on Saturday afternoon with a dominant win over Piedmont.
 
The Indians won for the second time of the weekend in run-rule fashion, 9-1, in five innings.
 
Offense took a few innings to get going for both teams. The game was scoreless until the fourth. Bartlesville stole two runs off a bunt from Nate Sloan due to a throwing error.
 
A triple from Eddie Rice and a double from Braxten Willis put the Indians up 4-0 in the top of the fourth. Piedmont scored their run a half-inning later.
 
Bartlesville kept the bats hot in the top of the fifth inning, striking for five more. Willis finished the game with two RBI, adding this single in the fifth.
 
Willis finished 2-for-3 on the day. Sterling Kroh, Lincoln Gott and Easton Davis combined for the win on the mound. Kroh and Gott combined for eight strikeouts through 4.1 innings pitched.
 
The win finished off a 5-0 weekend for Bartlesville, they are 6-0 this summer. The Indians are back in action Monday evening for a doubleheader against the Tulsa Barons at O'Brien Park in Tulsa. First pitch set for 5:30 p.m.
