Copan Football With Good Numbers

Lets continue to talk spring football across NE Oklahoma.
Teams have continued to work out toward the end of this week even in the damp conditions in this part of the state.
At Copan High School it is the second season for Hornet head coach Trenton Kallenberger.
Copan graduates five big-time seniors this spring. Those seniors, along with former quarterback Kane Foreman, were the lynchpin to a Copan program that has turned itself into a perineal playoff team.
Replacing that core group will not be easy, but it is something Kallenberger says he is excited for.
Early results are good out of Copan. Kallenberger says he has had as many as 22 guys out for practice early this spring.
Copan has a team camp on the western part of the state to continue spring learning.
The Hornets will return several starters as well. This includes quarterback Zane Stricklin and defensive back Peyton Call – Among others.
