Bartlesville High baseball gets going in the 6A Regionals on Wednesday.

BHS heads to Edmond Deer Creek for day one of action. The Bruins will face Broken Arrow at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon in the second game of the event. Deer Creek will likely handle Putnam City in the first game at 11:00 AM.

Bartlesville enters at a season-best four games above .500 at 19-15 on the year. The Bruins have won 10 of their last 13 and six in a row entering the playoffs.

Bartlesville head coach Cody Price talks about the past two weeks of Bruin baseball.

Bartlesville has hit 54 points better over the past 17 games than the Bruins did during their opening 18 to begin the season.

Broken Arrow will be no easy feat. BA is a 20-game winner and is the two-seed out of the other east-side District.

Price talks about the matchup with the Tigers in the first round.

If Bartlesville wins at 1:30 the Bruins will turn around and play at 4:00 likely against Deer Creek in the Regional semifinals. Should BHS lose it will play at 6:30 likely against Putnam City in an elimination contest.

We will have the 1:30 game for you on Sports Talk 99.1 FM – KPGM and audio on KWONTV.com.
