Lady Bruins 9th After Golf State Day 1

Day one of the 6A State Girl’s Golf Tournament is all wrapped up, as there is only one day remaining for the event, which will start Tuesday morning at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville.
Bartlesville is standing at No. 9 statewide after the first day. BHS finished a combined 93 shots over par.
It appears the race for the state title is between three teams, Jenks, Norman North and Edmond North. Jenks is leading the way at 28 over par. Norman North is second at 31 shots over and Edmond North is nine shots back of the lead.
Vivan Symes had the best score of any Lady Bruin at 16 over. That tied Symes for 27th individually in 6A.
Aisley Kiersey is two shots back of Symes at 34th. Ava Parham is only three shots back of Kiersey at No. 40 overall and 21 over par.
BHS will have its golfers tee off at 9:10 starting on Hole 10 at Hillcrest. There will be Lady Bruins teeing off every 10 minutes until 9:50.
