Nowata Golf Standout Signs With CCC

Nowata golf standout Brett Malone has signed to Coffeyville Community College (CCC) to continue his golf career.
 
Malone, in the middle of his senior season with the Nowata golf team, has been instrumental in giving the Ironmen a chance to qualify for the state tournament.
 
Malone reflects on his experience at Nowata.
 
CCC is a junior college in Coffeyville, Kan. competing in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC). The program is led by head coach William Wilson, a graduate of Nowata and golf star.
 
Nowata golf coach Homer Johnston says CCC is a great fit for Malone.
 
Malone's time with Nowata is not over yet, the Ironmen hit the course for 2A regionals on Monday in Seminole. The Ironmen will compete against other area teams such as Wesleyan Christian School, Caney Valley and Oklahoma Union.
