Bruin Baseball Hosts Bixby

Bartlesville High baseball starts its second-to-last District series on Monday evening from Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
It a couple days in a row where the Bruins will try to knock off one of the state’s best.
Bixby visits Rigdon Field on Monday, while BHS returns the favor at Bixby on Tuesday.
Bartlesville had its game on Friday against Tulsa NOAH postponed due to the possibility of severe weather but lost to NOAH on Saturday during the makeup. It was a marathon of a 16-13 loss for BHS. NOAH scored 16 runs on only five hits.
The Bruins surrendered 18 walks with a parade of six different pitchers taking the hill to get work.
The Bruins still have a shot at fifth in 6A District 4 but will have to play well in the final four District games of the year, including Monday.
