BHS Baseball Shuts Out Rejoice Christian

Bartlesville High baseball used a strong first inning to record their first shutout of the season.
The Bruins beat Rejoice Christian on Friday at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium, 5-0.
BHS scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning on just one hit. The Eagles hit two batters and walked two more after a double from Sam Marcella, sparking the big inning.
Cooper Swaim pitched a complete game shutout, allowing just five hits. He struck out five.
Swaim also finished with two RBIs at the plate.
Bartlesville has won back-to-back games since falling to Sand Springs twice this week. They are 3-4 overall.
The Bruins are back in action on Monday to open the Gulf Shores Classic in Gulf Shores, Ala. The tournament runs through March 20.
