Nowata Hoops Meets Fairland in Regional Semifinal

Nowata basketball is back on the floor on Tuesday night in the regional semifinals against Fairland.
The Ironmen beat the Caney Valley (OK) Trojans in the district championship game last Thursday, 58-52, to advance to the winner's bracket of regionals.
Nowata closed out the regular season with a loss to Ketchum last Monday. Head coach Derick Ott talks about his team's mindset after last week's loss going into the playoffs.
The Ironmen take on a Fairland bunch that beat Pawhuska in their district championship game on the road, 52-40. The Owls are 17-5 overall and the No. 7 ranked team in 2A.
