Dewey Hoops Heads Into Regional Semifinals

Dewey Bulldogger basketball is back in action on Tuesday night in Adair in the regional semifinals against Wyandotte.
On the boy's side, Dewey won a district championship on Friday over Sequoyah (Claremore) to advance to the regional semifinals, 69-57. The Bulldoggers will play the Bears on Tuesday with a chance to guarantee a spot in the area tournament.
The Bulldoggers closed out the regular season last Tuesday on the road for the Caney Valley (KS) Bullpups before opening the postseason over the weekend. Dewey won a tight contest, 65-62. Knight talks about games like the one in Caney molding a team's preparation for the postseason.
For the Lady Bulldoggers, they are also in a regional semifinal in Adair on Tuesday night taking on Adair. They beat Sequoyah (Claremore) on Friday, 44-36.
