Dewey basketball dominated on the road on Monday night against Sperry, 60-38.

It was Dewey's defense that got them off to a solid start. The Bulldoggers scored 28 points in the first half, allowing just 13. Sperry scored just four points in the first quarter. This Zach Renfroe three-pointer late in the first quarter put Dewey up by nine.

Dewey started off the third quarter on an 8-1 run to stretch the lead to 22 for the first time. Karson Johnson led the way in that stretch, with this three-pointer helping the cause.

The win puts Dewey at 19-2 overall. The Bulldoggers have won nine straight.

In the girl's game, the Lady Bulldoggers won an entertaining game over Sperry, 48-42. The Lady Bulldoggers are 15-7.

Both Dewey clubs are back in action on Tuesday night for a rematch with Nowata. The girls will get the evening started at 6 p.m. with the guys to follow around 7:30 p.m. Both games can be heard on 104.9 - KRIG and KRIGTV.com.
