Dewey and OKU Hoops Meet Again

Dewey and Oklahoma Union basketball is set to collide for the second time this season on Tuesday night in Dewey.
 
Last time around, Dewey opened their season one the road and beat the Cougars, 87-40. Going into Tuesday's battle, both teams have played well.
 
For Dewey, the Bulldogger guys have won six of their last seven games. Dewey is 11-2 overall and the No. 19 team in 3A. The Bulldoggers finished third in the RCB Winter Invitational in Oologah, including a win over 4A Vinita in the third place game.
 
In a busy January with minimal rest days, head coach Lance Knight talked about his team's year-long cycle of staying in shape.
 
On the other side, Oklahoma Union has started heating up following a two-win campaign in the Hominy Tournament. OKU entered the tournament 0-9 before finishing as the runner-up with a loss to Catoosa, the No. 8 team in 4A.
 
Head coach Riley Duncan talked about his guys finding their footing.
 
Tuesday's action tips off at 6 p.m. with the Lady Bulldoggers and Lady Cougars starting off the evening, the guys game will follow around 7:30 p.m. Coverage of the boys game can be heard on 104.9 - KRIG and KRIGTV.com.
