Dewey Boys Hoops Hot Through Winter Break

Brian McSweeney
Dewey Bulldogger boys basketball is red hot heading into winter break.
The Doggers are 8-1 overall and have won three straight. All three of their wins have been by double digits. Head coach Lance Knight said there's a lot to like.
Dewey has found greater success over the last few games due to strong starts. The Bulldoggers got off to a 17-2 run to open against Pawhuska, and at one point led Caney, Kan. 30-10 in the second quarter.
Dewey is also off to a 3-0 start in Northeast Valley Conference play with three double-digit wins. The Doggers allowed 40 points or less in each of those games.
Dewey returns for Wesleyan Christian School on Jan. 6.
