Mason Fine Comes as Bruin OC

A big-time hire was announced for Bartlesville High’s new-look football program was announced on Thursday afternoon. 

Head coach Matt Hennesy announced that Mason Fine, one of the most storied quarterbacks in Oklahoma high school history, will be coming to be the quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator at BHS.

Fine was a two-time Oklahoma player of the year at Locust Grove, playing under Hennesy. Fine then had an outstanding four-year career at North Texas.

He is the all-time leading passer in North Texas history. Fine was a four-time All-Conference USA selection and a two-time Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year.

Asked about his staff after taking the job, Hennesy said he would stress bringing the best to Bartlesville.

BHS also announced the hiring of Pawhuska offensive line coach Tyler Hughes in the same capacity at Bartlesville.
