Had a couple finals from on Monday night of note:

Wesleyan Christian School beat the Copan boys in a double-header in Copan. This was the first of three games for the Hornets this week.

Mustangs beat Copan 65-50.

It was an uncharacteristic 65 points allowed for a Copan team that had been great a defense through the first two weeks of the year.

After a slow start from three-point shooting, head coach Kolton Stacy says it was a Hornet freshman who has helped get the lid off the basket.

WCS boys improve to 5-2 overall. Mustangs have one game left this semester against Claremore Christian on Friday.

Meanwhile the Copan guys are 3-2. They have Prue on the road on Tuesday evening.

The other double-header on Monday night saw Barnsdall sweep South Coffeyville.

Panther guys topped the Lions, 56-27. It was close on the girl’s side with a 40-35 Barnsdall win over South Town in overtime.
