The Bartlesville girls basketball team is off to a 1-0 start during its three-day event in Carthage, Missouri.

BHS had an outstanding outing in a 67-60 overtime win over Bentonville, Arkansas on Thursday afternoon.

Bartlesville got 21 points from Sami Shaeffer and 16 from Kenzie Denny in the win. BHS led throughout most of the 4^th quarter and OT period.

The Lady Bruins held Bentonville to only 33.3-percent shooting. BHS made eight three-pointers in the win. Bartlesville also held a 35-26 advantage on the boards.

BHS will move on to face Fort Smith Southside at 4:30 on Friday afternoon.
