The Pawhuska Huskies are semifinal bound following an exciting 28-26 road win at Wynnewood on Friday night. It was a late touchdown drive for the Huskies and ensuing stop by the Pawhuska defense that made all the difference.

Trailing 26-22 with eight minutes remaining in the game, Kane Foreman led the Huskies 74 yards down the field for the game-winning touchdown drive. Capping off the drive was Pawhuska's Jenson Snodgrass, who was one of three running backs lined up in the backfield.

With six minutes remaining in the contest, Pawhuska kicked off to the Savages. They got it across midfield, but facing a fourth and 5, Pawhuska's front seven made their voices heard, getting their first sack of the night.

From there, Pawhuska was able to pick up two first downs and get the win. Jenson Snodgrass added two more touchdowns in the first half and Foreman rushed for another.

Up next for Pawhuska is a game against Rejoice Christian on Friday, December 5. The place and time will be determined by the OSSAA in the next couple of days. We will have that broadcast for you on 99.1 FM KPGM and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
