Copan Eyes Home Playoff Game

High school football will wrap up the regular season this weekend across Green Country. Copan hosts Arkoma on Friday.
The Hornets are trying to wrap up a second-place finish in Class B-II District 4. Copan had a shot at the District title last week but fell on the road at Wilson.
Wilson topped the Hornets, 62-36. It was three turnovers in the first five possessions that doomed Copan. Wilson also recovered an onside kick, ultimately accounting for four extra possesions.
Head coach Trenton Kallenberger says aside from the turnovers, he thought his team played well.
Arkoma enters at 4-6 overall. Copan is 7-2. A 7:00 kick from Copan for a big senior night on Friday night.
With a win, the Hornets will get a first-round home playoff game on Nov. 14.
