OKWU Men's Basketball Rolls in Opener

Oklahoma Wesleyan men's basketball got the 2025-26 season off to a blazing start on Friday night in Skiatook.
The Eagles took out Georgia Gwinnett College, 84-63.
OKWU trailed 36-31 at halftime, only to outscore the Grizzlies 53-27 in the second half. They shot 61% from the field in the final 20 minutes.
Tamaje Izuagbe led the way offensively, he finished with 29 points on 12-19 shooting, including 5-9 from three-point range.
The Eagles will finish out The Tulsa Challenge in Skiatook on Saturday night against Langston University. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. Coverage of the ballgame can be heard on Sports Talk 99.1 FM - KPGM.
