The Oaks-Mission Warriors kept their winning streak alive in emphatic fashion Thursday night, rolling past the South Coffeyville Lions 52-12 to secure their fourth straight victory.

It was déjà vu for the Lions, who also fell to Oaks-Mission in their previous meeting. This time around, the Warriors made sure the outcome was never in doubt, exploding on both sides of the ball and notching their fifth win of the season by 30 points or more.

Oaks-Mission’s defense continued its impressive form, allowing just 12 points, keeping in line with a recent stretch that’s seen opponents average only eight points per game. The Warriors’ balanced attack, coupled with relentless defensive pressure, pushed their record to 6-3 on the season.

For South Coffeyville, the loss drops the Lions to 4-5, snapping any momentum they hoped to carry into the home stretch.

Both squads now turn their focus to Week 10 action. Oaks-Mission will host Bluejacket next Thursday at 7 p.m., while South Coffeyville looks to rebound at home against Medford on November 7. The Lions will need to tighten up defensively, Medford has scored at least 31 points in each of its last four games.
