Caney Valley (OK) Prepares for Morrison

The Caney Valley Trojans are back on the field this weekend following a close loss to Oklahoma Union last week, 12-8.
The Trojans are 0-7 on the season after last week's defeat and 0-4 in district play.
Despite the loss, head coach Derrick Hammer said it was a good indicator for Trojan football long-term.
Caney Valley took an 8-6 lead in the fourth quarter against the Cougars before OKU took the lead back with about two minutes left to seal it.
Looking at the rest of the schedule, the Trojans have their final road game of the season this week against Morrison, before hosting Pawhuska and Quapaw to finish things off.
Hammer talked about carrying the same intensity from last week into Morrison.
Due to possible inclement weather on Friday, Caney Valley's game against Morrison has been moved up a day to Thursday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
