The Caney Valley Trojans are back at it this weekend as district play is in full swing for high school football.

The Trojans to this point are 0-4 overall and 0-2 in district play, following a 49-12 loss to Tonkawa in their home opener last week. It was also Caney Valley's homecoming game.

Head coach Derrick Hammer talked about the progression that his group made.

Caney Valley has one of their toughest tests of the season coming up on Friday night, as they travel on the road to Pawnee. The Black Bears are 3-2 overall, and 1-1 in district play with a win over Morrison and a loss to Pawhuska.

Hammer talked about Pawnee's tendencies.
