Oklahoma State interim head coach Doug Meacham talked with the media on Wednesday following practice in Stillwater. Meacham, an Oklahoma State grade and two-time Cowboy assistant, is taking over for former head coach Mike Gundy.

Gundy was fired on Tuesday morning.

Meacham says Gundy spoke to the players following practice on Tuesday.

He said it was emotional, and he hopes the players respond the right way.
