Nowata Co. Commissioners Discuss REAP Grants

The Nowata County Commissioners met for a regularly scheduled meeting on Monday morning at the Nowata County Annex.
The commissioners discussed maintenance to chillers and generators in the courthouse and approved a mailing service agreement for yearly tax statements between the treasurer's office and Peregrine Services.
The board also approved a REAP Grant application for the Nowata County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff Jason McClain talked about what the grant will be used for.
According to Commissioner Brandon Wesson, maintenance on a radio tower in Wann will resume this week. The radio tower project is for first responders to communicate more effectively in the field across the county.
The Nowata County Commissioners meet every Monday morning at 9 a.m. at the Nowata County Annex.
