We have a ton of coverage from Week One of high school football on our website from over the weekend at BartlesvilleRadio.com.

After two weeks of action several teams are now getting into a week off after their Zero Week contests.

Bartlesville High is in that spot. The Bruins enter their bye week at 0-2 following another close loss. The week off comes at a good time, as several starters are dealing with some lingering injuries.

Claremore topped BHS 29-20 at Custer Stadium on Friday night.

It was a couple Bartlesville turnovers that took a score away from BHS and gave Claremore a touchdown that proved to be the difference.

Head coach Harry Wright after the game talked about the message to his team.

Bartlesville went on a 13-0 run late in game to make things interesting but couldn’t complete a comeback. It was 8-7 Zerbras early.

BHS with no game this Friday, Bartlesville will travel to Collinsville a week from this Friday.
