Nowata Falls to Warner

Nowata Ironmen football fell in their home opener to Warner on Friday night, 29-8.
Turnovers and a lack of offense took Nowata out of the ballgame. The Ironmen turned the ball over six times between interceptions and fumbles. Nowata had just 168 yards of offense.
On the defensive side, Nowata held their ground. The Ironmen held Warner to just 261 yards of offense, and stopped the Eagles on fourth down seven out of nine times. Warner finished 1-for-13 on third down.
Nowata was able to find the endzone late on their final possession. This one-yard touchdown run from Adrian O'Dell got the Ironmen on the board.
Nowata falls to 0-2 with the loss. The Ironmen return next Friday night for their homecoming game against Chelsea.
