Barnsdall goes 2-0 to start the Season.

Barnsdall for the second week was our KYFM Game of the Week, as they traveled North to Oklahoma Union to take on the Cougars. Barnsdall, coming off a dominating win in Week 0 action against Caney Valley was looking to keep the momentum going, and they did just that. Barnsdall got on the board first with their first drive of the game.

Oklahoma Union, trying to get back to 500 for the season after a poor showing in their Week 0 game, was wanting to show they weren't a team to scoff at. Oklahoma Union was able to answer back quickly with a big Punter keep for a touchdown, the very next drive.

Kane Nash converted a fake punt from 65 yards out.

After that, Barnsdall was able to keep the momentum going and never let off the gas. Barnsdall scored 5 touchdowns in their first 6 drives of the game. Oklahoma Union able to get 2 more scores in the game, but not able to contain Lincoln Gott's passing and running game.

Lincoln Gott took off for a 40 yard touchdown run.

This game was chippy throughout with personal foul penalties plaguing both teams. At times, costing each team 30 yards in some instances. Surprisingly, no ejections in this game. Barnsdall able to finish the game with a late touchdown to make the final 54-18 at Oklahoma Union.
