Recapping Dewey Football at Pioneer Woman Classic

Dewey Bulldoggers football participated in the Pioneer Woman Classic on Friday night in Pawhuska, joined by the Huskies, Rejoice Christian and Sperry.
Dewey played a half-game against Pawhuska to close out the night. They fell on the scoreboard 30-7, as the Doggers look to find their identity with first year head coach Scott Sapulpa.
Sapulpa shared his thoughts on the night.
On defense, Dewey forced a fumble and a punt against a Kane Foreman led offense in Pawhuska. On offense, the Bulldoggers stayed aggressive on the run game with the likes of Easton Davis and Jayden Vallen getting lots of looks.
At the quarterback position, Chase Miller and Braxton Braden split the snaps. Sapulpa talked about the quarterback position after Friday's scrimmage.
Dewey opens the season against Locust Grove in zero week on Aug. 29 in Dewey. Coverage can be heard on 104.9 FM - KRIG, with video coverage on KRIGTV.com.
