Oklahoma Wesleyan men's soccer will head into the fall as the favorites to win the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, after slotting in at number one in the KCAC preseason poll.

Along with the top spot in the conference, the Eagles are also ranked fifth overall in the preseason NAIA poll. The Eagles have been nationally ranked for 140 straight weeks.

Last season, OKWU went 22-2 overall and a perfect 13-0 in conference play. They won their fifth straight KCAC regular season and tournament championships, and made it back to the NAIA national tournament for the 14th consecutive year. They were the number two overall seed in last year's tournament.

Going into his 16th season as head coach of the program, Jamie Peterson talked about the expectations for 2025.

OKWU opens the year on Monday night at home against John Brown University.
