Dewey Bulldoggers football hits the field this week for their scrimmage in Pawhuska before things get going for real next Friday night.

The Bulldoggers will open the 2025 campaign with a handful of returning pieces on both offense and defense, led by first year head coach Scott Sapulpa.

Sapulpa appeared during our high school football preview show at Chick-Fil-A on Saturday morning and talked about a key part of his group's growth.

Dewey will scrimmage on Friday evening with Pawhuska, Sperry and Rejoice Christian to get prepared for their season opener on Aug. 29 against Locust Grove.

Last Friday was the first time the Bulldoggers got to break out the pads for the fall. Sapulpa talked about that first practice with the season opener on the horizon.
