Sweeney Looking for Senior Leaders

Having made the playoffs in five of the last six seasons, the Barnsdall Panthers are one of the most consistent team across northeast Oklahoma. The Panthers are having to replace several key pieces and will be a little bit younger than they have in previous years. Coach Kylee Sweeney says despite this, the first week of fall camp has been productive.
Sweeney said heading into the next couple of weeks, the biggest thing he will be looking for is someone to take on that leadership role.
Blaine Miller, who led the team in tackles for the last three years, had knee surgery over the summer and will miss at least the first two games of the year.
