In Northern Nowata County, Oklahoma Union football has been active with official practices with the start of the season on the horizon.

OKU will be entering the 2025 campaign under first year head coach Bruce Munden, who comes to the Cougars from Cordell High School.

Munden talked about the energy going into the fall.

The Cougars have been working under Munden's leadership since the start of spring practices in late May, he was brought on as head coach in April. Munden talked about translating all of the work from the spring and summer into the fall.

Oklahoma Union opens the 2025 season against Colcord on Aug. 29.
