Oklahoma Wesleyan women's soccer has their first scrimmage of the season this week, as the Lady Eagles get set for the start of the 2025 season.

It was another championship season for the Lady Eagles in 2024, with OKWU sealing the regular season Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference championship with an unbeaten conference record, and hosting the opening round of the NAIA national tournament.

Head coach Ivan Ristic credits his coaching staff and player leadership for the team's success.

OKWU has two scrimmages this week, the first one is on Wednesday against the University of Arts and Sciences out of Chickasha, before hosting another scrimmage on Saturday morning against Rogers State.

Going into his seventh season with the group, Ristic talked about the excitement level for the new season.

The Lady Eagles kick-off their first scrimmage against the Drovers at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night.
