At Bartlesville High, fall sports are going to officially kick off on Monday, as the Bartlesville volleyball team travels to Enid for a tri to begin the 2025-26 school year’s varsity events.

In Friday's Bruin Buzz, our weekly interview with BHS Athletic Director Thad Dilbeck, we talk a lot about the legacy that Bartlesville Superintendent Chuck McCauley will leave with Bruin athletics.

Dilbeck says that McCauley did a tremendous job in recognizing the role that sports have in our community.

Dilbeck expressed how much he enjoyed working for McCauley during their time together and wished him well.

There was also talk about the upcoming volleyball and softball games next week, and Bruin football begins practicing on Monday.

Bruin Buzz airs every Friday morning at 9:45 on KWON - AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
