The Oklahoma State Cowboys are less than four weeks away from taking to the field for their season opener, as they are one of a few teams playing a Thursday game to start the season.

The Pokes will host UT-Martin to start the season for a 6:30 kickoff. That will be a game you can hear on KWON. When the Pokes hit the field, the team is going to be a bit of an unknown to many. From the offseason, they added 41 players in the transfer portal. They also added a new offensive and defensive coordinator.

Head coach Mike Gundy talks about Doug Meacham running the offense and Todd Grantham taking care of the defense.

In total, there are 65 new players on the Oklahoma State football team entering the 2025 season. Of those players, 35 of them didn't arrive on campus until June 1st.
