High school football starts in exactly one month, and the Oklahoma Union Cougars are counting down the days until kickoff.

OKU will enter a new era of football this year under head coach Bruce Munden.

Throughout the work this summer, Munden said his group is excited for the upcoming season.

The summer pride program at Oklahoma Union hasn't just benefited football players this year. Around 70 athletes reportedly turned out for summer pride at OKU across a handful of sports.

Munden talks about how the program has helped developed athletes in general.
