OKWU Women's Volleyball Prepares for 2025

Oklahoma Wesleyan women's volleyball is just under a month away from returning to the court in 2025.
The Lady Eagles have won the last two Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference championships, with a trip to the final site of the NAIA national tournament in 2023. Last year, OKWU went 31-4, 12-1 in conference play and a perfect 16-0 record at home.
Head coach Tracie Gillette said her group is hungry and humble.
OKWU has two scrimmages in Bartlesville against Mid-America Christian University on Aug. 13 and Cowley County Community College on Aug. 19. The first official home match of the regular season is Sep. 3 against Southwestern Christian.
The Lady Eagles open 2025 in Sioux City, Iowa, for a two-day tournament, followed by the Corban University Classic in Salem, Oregon.
Gillette said her group isn't shying away from tough competition.
Oklahoma Wesleyan opens the fall against Valley City State University in Sioux City, Iowa on Aug. 22.
