Indians Begin State Tournament Thursday

Summer baseball is ending this weekend, and it all starts this morning.
The Doenges Toyota Indians begin play in the Oklahoma State Legion Tournament in Ada. The Indians are one of only four teams in this year’s event. It has been an up and down summer in 2025 for B-Ville. The Indians are 22-24, Bartlesville got hot in July, winning the Glen Winget Tournament for the first time since 2018 and making a serious run in the DBAT League Collegiate event.
Bartlesville will try to leverage its biggest asset in this double-elimination tournament: Pitching depth.
The Indians enter the State tournament with seven guys who have thrown 20 innings or more. Bartlesville has eight on the roster who have made at least two starts this summer.
Pannell says that is the main difference between last year and this year.
The Tribe fell to the Ada Braves in the championship round a year ago.
Bartlesville kicks things off bright at early at 10:00 AM on Thursday against the Ada A’s. We will have all the Indian’s games for you on Sports Talk 99.1 FM and 1500 AM – KPGM. Video coverage on KWONTV.com.
