Oklahoma head football coach Brent Venables and the Sooner contingent talked on Wednesday at SEC Media Days in Atlanta, as OU tries to bounce back under Venables in his fourth season as head man.

OU went 2-6 during its first season in the SEC, solidifying the Sooners second losing conference season in the past three years. Venables is 22-17 through three years in Norman. OU has not played for a conference championship since 2020.

Venables gives his thoughts on his first season in the SEC with the Sooners last fall.

The Sooners kick off their 2025 season against Illinois State on Aug. 30.
