Oklahoma Wesleyan women's soccer is just over a month away from kickoff in 2025, as the Lady Eagles look to build off of the success they put together last year.

With an experienced group, OKWU went unbeaten through the regular season and the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament. The Lady Eagles went 16-1-4 last year, and went undefeated in conference play. Their only loss came in the opening round of the NAIA national tournament. Since head coach Ivan Ristic was named head coach in 2019, OKWU has made the national tournament every year.

Ristic said a solid portion of last year's team is coming back.

The Lady Eagles have two scrimmages before kicking things off for real next month. OKWU takes on the University of Science and Arts on Aug. 13, before wrapping up exhibition play against Rogers State University on Aug. 16.

During the regular season, OKWU jumps in with a tough non-conference schedule. Four of the five non-conference opponents OKWU plays this fall advanced to the final site of the NAIA national tournament last year.

Ristic said his group can play with anybody.

Oklahoma Wesleyan opens the 2025 season at home against Central Methodist University on Aug. 25.
