Panthers Look to Stay Consistent in 2025

Barnsdall football coach Kylee Sweeney is entering his tenth season as head coach of the Panthers and is expecting around 35 players to report for fall camp. Barnsdall returns six starters on each side of the ball, but also graduated five players who had been either three of four year starters.
That group of seniors made the playoffs in three of four seasons and Sweeney says there will be a lot of competition to fill those spots.
Sweeney says he expects a lot of new faces to shine bright, especially along the offensive and defensive lines.
Sweeney added as he has built that program, making the playoffs isn't as much as a goal as it is an expectation.
The Panthers have a scrimmage at Mounds on Friday, August 22nd before returning home for Week Zero action against Caney Valley the following Friday.
